Solutions to building more homes for more people in the latest edition of the CIF Construction magazine – out now

by | Apr 16, 2024

We are delighted to publish this special April issue of Construction magazine  in conjunction with this year’s Housebuilding Summit, taking place in Croke Park on April 16 in partnership with the Irish Home Builders Association (IHBA) and the Construction Industry Federation (CIF).

You can discover more about this great event and its speaker line-up on www.housebuildingsummit.com

For almost a century, the IHBA has supported hundreds of housebuilders across Ireland to deliver more homes for more people, bringing a wealth of expertise to this sector.

We are therefore delighted to feature IHBA President Michael Kelleher, Group Operations Director of O’Flynn Group, in our special guest view segment.

In what he describes as a pivotal year for the industry, he considers the current landscape for homebuilders and discusses why it is vital that strategic decisions are made around policy and legislation. You can read his piece in full on page 18.

Conor O’Connell, CIF Director of Housing, Planning and Development, echoes these sentiments as he shares his forecast for the year ahead. For more go to page 28.

We also consider the European perspective alongside how technology, MMC and sustainability are shaping the delivery of housing across Ireland.

Wishing all those taking part in this month’s Housebuilding Summit the very best as they strive to understand the challenges ahead and find solutions to advance best practices in residential development.
