Speakers announced for the 2021 Construction Industry Federation Annual Conference

by | Aug 6, 2021

The past 18 months have been nothing like we ever expected. While the construction industry is now experiencing a major rebound and ramping up of activity, it is impossible to say what the new normal will look like.

Changes to the sector will have to be made with many of those for the better. The industry stands on the verge of a digital transformation, opening a great opportunity to both boost productivity and deliver a more sustainable built environment.

The Government has signalled a clear commitment to infrastructure as a response to the economic situation caused by Covid-19, with Budget 2021 allocating over €10billion to capital investment. Also the National Development Plan, part of Project Ireland 2040, is currently being reviewed.

As we start to look beyond coronavirus, there is an opportunity to create a construction ecosystem that delivers a built environment fit for all. Join us at this year’s CIF Annual Conference to learn how together we can improve the industry, as well as its social, environmental and economic impact.

We will bring together leaders from across construction to hear the latest policy updates, how to address the challenges facing the sector and explore how industry and government can work together to maximise opportunities arising from the recovery.

While our delegates will join in from the comfort of their homes and offices across Ireland and around the world, the event itself will be broadcast live from our state of the art studio in Dublin. Many of our speakers and panellists will appear live on stage, while our international keynotes and participants will be video-conferenced in to join the conversation.

Delegates will have the opportunity to step into the unique virtual summit environment, which includes access to the main virtual conference stage for the full day, live speaker and panel Q&A sessions, a virtual exhibition hall, copies of presentations and the ability to watch content back on demand post-event, as well as the opportunity to network, connect and chat.

The CIF 2021 Annual conference takes place on September 30, 2021. Book your tickets to the virtual summit HERE
