In every edition of CIF Construction magazine, we strive to do more than report on projects, policy, and progress. We look to capture the momentum shaping the future of Ireland’s built environment, and showcase the people leading that charge.
Across the pages of our latest issue, you will find stories and ideas driving transformation in communities throughout the country, from landmark infrastructure investments and regional regeneration projects to the innovators redefining how we build, plan, and deliver for the generations ahead.
Among them are CIF directors Joanne Treacy and Justin Molloy, who share their insights from a regional level while examining what’s still to come.
At the heart of this edition is our special feature, 60 Projects, Bigger Picture Vision, showcasing the scale, ambition, and strategic importance of developments reshaping Ireland’s regions.
They reflect an industry that continues to evolve while responding to some of the most pressing challenges of our time: housing delivery, infrastructure capacity, sustainability, connectivity, geopolitics and economic growth.
Ahead of this year’s Southern Construct Summit, we also spotlight the innovation shaping construction’s next chapter, from modular delivery and digital transformation to sustainable technologies. The industry, supported by the CIF, is demonstrating not only its capability to build, but its readiness to lead.

We are delighted to introduce the newest chairperson of the CIF’s Cork Branch, Patsy Supple, who shares her journey within the sector and her thoughts on the opportunities awaiting Ireland’s rebel city and county.
Progress on all levels, from national to regional, depends on partnership, leadership, and a willingness to think boldly about what comes next. We hope this edition will serve as a launch pad for conversation and action.
