Introducing the CIF Top 50 Contractors 2026 in the latest edition of Construction magazine – out now

by | Jul 1, 2026

This special edition of Construction magazine, featuring the 2026 CIF Top 50 Contractors, goes beyond the rankings. While the figures provide a valuable benchmark, this edition is ultimately about recognising the industry’s wider impact and celebrating the people whose expertise, ambition and commitment continue to shape the built environment.

At its core, construction has always been an industry defined by progress, where established legacies sit alongside technological advances and modern methods of construction, creating an environment that continues to push boundaries and inspire future generations.

This year’s Top 50 reflects the strength, scale and reach of Irish construction, showcasing companies and projects making their mark both at home and internationally. This edition celebrates not only individual achievement, but the collective success of the industry as a whole.

Compiled annually using turnover figures submitted directly by contractors, the CIF Top 50 Contractors list remains a trusted barometer of the sector’s performance. The 2026 rankings provide a snapshot of the industry at the close of last year and reveal continued growth across the sector.

Together, this year’s Top 50 companies generated a combined turnover of €24.059 billion, an increase of €3.209 billion on the previous year, with five CIF member companies once again surpassing the €1 billion turnover mark – a testament to the strength and resilience of Ireland’s leading contractors.

Congratulations to all those recognised this year. We are proud to celebrate the 2026 alumni of the CIF Top 50 Contractors and the achievements continue to demonstrate the capability, innovation and global ambition of Irish construction.
