Reshaping Ireland’s housing landscape and the IHBA Housebuilding Summit 2026 in the latest edition of Construction magazine – out now

Sharp focus on how to reshape the housing landscape

This month’s edition of Construction magazine is published in association with the annual CIF IHBA Housebuilding Summit. It brings together some of the country’s most distinguished voices at a decisive moment for Ireland’s housing sector.

This year’s gathering in Croke Park, Dublin, on April 21 positions itself as a catalyst for action across development, planning and investment.

In advance of that, this special edition introduces some of the event’s expert speakers who reflect on both the scale of the challenge ahead and on the reasons to be optimistic when it comes to delivering more homes and improved services across the State.

Each puts a sharp focus on how to unlock funding, accelerate partnerships and build homes that are not only plentiful, but sustainable and resilient.

People, including IHBA chairman Michael Prenty, CIF Director of Housing, Planning and Development Services Conor O’Connell and Sherry FitzGerald Group CEO Marian Finnegan, bring policy and regulation, alongside city and regional level insight into the spotlight for discussion.

We hope this April issue of Construction will provide a fruitful opportunity for the sector and all those invested in homebuilding to align on solutions that can genuinely reshape Ireland’s housing landscape for the better.
