by | Jun 21, 2024

The CIF Top 50 Contractors edition is a highlight of Construction magazine’s published offerings throughout the year.

Showcasing the strength, depth and skill of this mighty industry, we are delighted to feature the people and projects that exemplify quality, reliability and the delivery of incredible buildings and infrastructure in Ireland and worldwide.

As you look through the pages of this special edition, see the link below, you will see how innovative thinking and traditions grown over decades, and in some cases centuries, have combined to give us the successful industry we know today.

Congratulations to all who feature this year.

The 2024 lists give a snapshot of the country’s construction industry at the end of last year.

The CIF Top 50 Contractors 2024 have a total turnover of €17.77bn for 2023, an increase of €2.09bn on the previous year’s €15.68bn.

A total of €11.34bn in construction activity was recorded in Ireland, up from €10.54bn the previous year.

The Top 50 contractors exported over €6.43bn in construction expertise, €1.29bn more than the previous year’s €5.14bn. The entry figure for inclusion in this year’s Top 50 was €66m, an increase of €12.4m on 2023.

This year’s list also sees four CIF member companies maintain the billion euro turnover mark, with Winthrop Technologies Ltd featuring in the top three for the first time.

I must also acknowledge those who have worked together to bring this special issue to life over the past number of months.

Thank you to our partners at the CIF, the team at iQuest and Construction magazine for your support with this bumper edition.

Congratulations, once again, to all of 2024’s Top 50 contractors and thank you also to our commercial partners for your continued patronage.
